AFTERCARE J.J. Duffy Funeral Home For the past seven years, J. J. Duffy has been providing families with many services and programs long after the funeral has ended. Support Group listings, post-funeral seminars, and a Memorial Liturgy, just to name a few. These programs are offered to families at no cost.   John Tormey, our director of education and counseling provides many aftercare programs that are healing and uplifting. A telephone call or visit from John can be so beneficial. "I am here to educate families and individuals about the grief and healing process. I hope to empower the family by giving them the tools and resources they'll need to cope with their loss". John Tormey has a P.H.D. in Psychology, and is a professor at the Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA.  He is a well know grief facilitator, and public speaker on the topics of Death, Dying and Bereavement. At J. J.
