The Breakers Restaurant opened in 1949 in Crystal Lake. Today, The Breakers Restaurant is recognized as one of Illinois’s best restaurants, and has won several local diners’ awards.

Our chef began cooking at a young age, and left school early to pursue a career as a chef. After traveling the world for several years, he returned to Crystal Lake to open his first restaurant. After attaining international acclaim preparing fine dining in China, he moved to the Crystal Lake to share their eclectic cuisine with Crystal Lake residents.
