Where we've been....
Cobblestone's Restaurant & Sports Emporium is housed in the Columbus Home building, originally founded by the York Council of the The Knights of Columbus in October of 1926 to meet the needs of its swelling membership. Through their diligent efforts over the years in this locations, the K. of C. and the Catholic Ladies Auxiliary were very successful in supporting many charitable and recreational ventures in and around the York area. From their annual charity events to the sponsorship of local sporting teams, perhaps the longest-lived pf their contributions to us here today was the inclusions of the The Alcazar Ballroom in the Home. The magnificent hall offered the area generous venue for dancing and entertainment to rival the Valencia Ballroom in the heyday of the big band era.

The legacy of the Columbus Home lives on here at Cobblestone's where we not only continually strive to remain active in many local affairs such as athletic sponsorships and charity events, but also endeavor to provide the very finest of venues for all York';s entertainment needs, In the spirit of the Alcazar Ballroom, we offer both choice foods and refreshments as well as varied entertainments to satisfy the most demanding of clientele. All this provided in a relaxed environment where one can really just unique from the day and enjoy the company of friends both old and new. On behalf of all of us here at Cobblestone's, we would like to welcome you to our little piece of history and look forward to serving you again soon.
