For the past eight years, we have provided residents of  the surrounding Des Moines area with professional massage services to help improve their mental and physical health.
Our services are perfect for anyone who wishes to enhance their current health, relieve pain and stress, or recover from illness or injury.

 Born and raised in NW Iowa, Della, a dedicated Christian, spent 20 years as a cosmetologist/ salon owner. Developing chemical sensativities to the salon world forced her to leave that much loved profession. Her personal search for recovery birthed in her a deep passion for helping others achieve and maintain their health and wellness. 
 Realizing the potential healing influence of human touch, Della was led to dedicate her life to studying at the Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School.  Upon completion of her 1500 hours of student/ instructorship certification, Della began assisting at The Back Care Clinic where her dedication to the art of massage is apparent in her skill as a therapist and evidenced in her thriving practice, which led to eventually relocating to establish a wellness center at her current location - 7015 Douglas in Urbandale.  Across the street from Walgreens on 70th and Douglas,  we're on the Other Corner of Happy and Very Healthy!!
 In addition to her therapeutic techniques, Della offers a soothing, relaxing pampering experience to help escape the stresses of the day-  special herbal body wraps, Hot and Cold Stones, Rebalancing/Pulsing Body Work, Reflexology, or Lymphatic modalities, which also help promote body wellness, are some possibilities to choose from.  You may want to experience the healing benefits of essential oils with a Rain Drop Therapy Treatment. 
 Aqua Detox foot therapy and Far-Infrared Health Cabin Sauna sessions are additional services we provide our clients to help obtain optimal health.  And with the recent addition of using the BioMat in her sessions, has served to enhance her ability to bring healing and relief to her clients.

Myofascial Release:

Myofascial Release Therapy is an extremely effective hands-on technique that works by applying gentle sustained pressure to eliminate pain and restore flexibility and motion to the fascia (connective tissue). 		Deep Tissue:

Using Deep Tissue we can assess the cause and type of conditions a patient presents, which is crucial to treating them successfully. This involves strong pressure used on "trigger points" and tendons to release contracted muscles and clear troubled areas.		Reflexology:

Reflexology is the art of touching points on feet, hands and ears that correspond directly with the organs, glands and other systems in the body. The reflex points communicate messages causing deep relaxation, detoxification, pain relief, stimulation of the immune and circulatory system, and facilitate an overall balance and well being.
