Lungta or Wind Horse, a mythical Tibetian creature from pre Buddhist times combines the speed of the wind and the strength of a horse to carry prayers from Earth to the Heavens. The Word Lungta means fortune or good luck to a Tibetian. They believe that the prayers and mantras will be blown upwards as offerings to their deities and will bring fortune, happiness and good health to them and their families, loved ones and neighbors.These Tibetan Prayer Flags are the original kind that you would find flying in Tibet. These are made to fray with each passing wind releasing their prayers to God. They come in 2 sizes: 10 and 25 small (5 1/2 " square) flags on a string.
