Rae Cuffe, Jamaica Plain, MA Rae is a 22 year old from Jamaica Plain, MA. On August 16, 2009, Rae suffered a brain aneurism and was in intensive care for 4 weeks and another 3 months of rehabilitation. On October 19, 2009, at grant in the amount of $9,000 was issued to Rae. This grant was to help with uncovered medical expenses, medical insurance payments and prescriptions.

Nancy Hannum, Paoli, PA On September 23, 2009, a grant $500 grant was issued to Nancy for help with living expenses. Nancy was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer

Leevon Toppi, North Andover, MA Leevon is an 8 year old who crippled, blind and feeds from a G-I tube. His dad, David is a single father and is the sole provider for him. Leevon requires 24 hour care. His dad has been using an old wheel chair and now that Leevon is getting older and bigger it has become very difficult to get Leevon around. On October 5, 2009 a grant in the amount of $4,500.00 was given to Leevon so that his Dad can purchase a new Kimba Stroller (Pediatric Mobility System).

Sarah McCarthy, Braintree, MA Sarah is a single mother of 3. Sarah and her 3 children awoke at 3:00 am to the sounds of fire alarms going off in her 2nd floor Apartment. Sarah and her family lost everything in their apartment to a devastating fire. Sarah had no insurance and therefore had no where to live and just the clothes on there back.
The Weber Foundation presented Sarah and her family with a grant in the amount of $5,333.00. This grant helped her purchase new clothing and furniture for her three children.
 David & Kerry Kuehne, Acushnet, MA David is currently deployed and since his deployment his wife has been unable to work full time. They gave two children and she is self employed. A grant for $500 was issued to help with repairs to the boiler in their home.
There were an additional 13 grants issued in 2009, however we have not yet received releases and/or photographs and have not yet posted to the website.
