Sylvia Pierce, Director Sylvia L. Pierce of Gilford New Hampshire has been with the foundation for nearly four years. Before becoming a member of the Board of Directors, she served as Public Relations Director for foundation. Sylvia spent the majority of her career as a sales and marketing representative for 3M Corporation and most recently retired from her Advertising & Media Director position at a well-known New Hampshire Advertising Agency. Her experience in the Advertising & Marketing field has given the foundation a voice with regards to the promotion and awareness of the foundation. Over the past 20 years she has always involved herself in many non-profit organizations from Big Brother Big Sister, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Catholic Charities.
When I first heard about the efforts of The Weber Foundation of Helping Hands, I was astonished by the mission statement and the fact that this foundation was run by an all-volunteer group of men and women. Being able to be part of helping those in need was the very reason I became a volunteer, and the second reason was I felt that I was truly contributing to an organization that was not funding administrative cost, but that the monies raised were going to those who had fallen through the cracks. I feel that my time and passion about this foundation has helped me realize the meaning of sincerely giving back to my community. I am the one who is truly blessed by this group.

I met Elizabeth Weber at her first benefit event and at that time joined the Weber foundation as a volunteer. I am impressed with the tireless efforts of this organization. I consider myself blessed to have the opportunity to help others and make a difference.
