| Our All Wild Bird Pheasant Hunts are a main attraction in western Minnesota. We offer over 800 acres of private land which hold hundreds of wild pheasants year round. We also have access to thousands and thousands of public land in the Lac Qui Parle Wildlife Management Area. Some of this public ground does get hit pretty hard throughout the season but there are plenty of little sleeper spots that owner/head guide Chuck Ellingson has been hunting successfully for many years. Guided and Unguided Preserve Pheasant Hunts

| Our Preserve Pheasant Hunts are a one of a kind hunt with all of the features of western Minnesota in the fall built right in. We are open for business from the beginning of September and run through the month of March. We have over 65 acres of prime pheasant hunting property with medium to thick prairie grass cover that rolls down through some spectacular Oak savanna grassland into the Minnesota River valley. We are also planning to add an additional 40 acre field that has produced many wild birds for us every year, into the preserve this year as well. At this time our property is ideal for small to medium sized groups of hunters who are looking for an all day hunt and we can accommodate corporate and larger group sizes up to 20 hunters. Our daily package rates are very reasonable with No Membership Fees and we do offer First Class Lodging and Home cooked meals for a little extra. We can also provide professionally trained dogs and a guide if you so desire. |
Guided Minnesota Dove Hunts

With the new addition of Dove Hunting in Minnesota in 2004, this has opened up a fantastic hunting opportunity for us at the Watson Hunting Camp. We were able to invite our most valuable customers out last fall for a spectacular guided dove hunt that is World Class! This year we are opening this hunt up to everybody. I hunted pheasants at the Watson Hunting Camp four times this past October and November. The camp is set in western Minnesota. It is in the middle of literally thousands of acres of farmland adjoining Lac Qui Parle lake and the game refuge. The owner Chuck Ellingson, and his trusty retriever Morgan, were obviously intent on providing relaxed and memorable hunting experiences. With Chuck and Morgan's help, our hunting parties always had great shooting and flawless retrieves. With my freezer full of pheasants I look forward to many good meals, and lots of fun hunting next fall.
