| The Watson Hunting Camp is located in western Minnesota just 2 1/2 miles from the town of Watson, Mn. We reside on top of the north side of the Lac Qui Parle Refuge just inside the refuge boundaries. Our camp offers a spectacular view of the Minnesota River Valley itself and is so close that the resident Canada geese may either put you to sleep at night or keep you up..... |

I hunted pheasants at the Watson Hunting Camp four times this past October and November. The camp is set in western Minnesota. It is in the middle of literally thousands of acres of farmland adjoining Lac Qui Parle lake and the game refuge. The owner Chuck Ellingson, and his trusty retriever Morgan, were obviously intent on providing relaxed and memorable hunting experiences. With Chuck and Morgan's help, our hunting parties always had great shooting and flawless retrieves. With my freezer full of pheasants I look forward to many good meals, and lots of fun hunting next fall.
