Cotonwind Joey at TiaCotons x Kya of Savikko Inauguration Day Litter born on January 20/21, 2009. Kya gave birth to two girls and two boys on January 20, 2009. The fifth puppy, a girl, was born on January 21, 2009. Sasha, a girl, was the first born puppy. She weighed 6 3/4 ounces. Lincoln, a boy, was the second born puppy. He weighed 6 3/4 ounces. Malia, a girl, was the third born puppy. She weighed 5 3/4 ounces. Sully, a boy, was the fourth born boy. He weighed 8 ounces. Hope, a girl, was the fifth born puppy. She weighed 7 1/2 ounces. Kya loves her puppies! Her puppies are all nursing well and they are quite content little puppies. Dr. Renee stopped by our home to visit the puppies for a health check-up on January 22. The puppies all appear to be in good health. Enjoy following the growth of Kya and Joey's puppies as they grow from newborn puppies to ten weeks of age. Joey's parents are clear/normal for CMR2 and also for vWD Type 1 so Joey is clear/normal for these diseases. Clear/Normal puppies will never be carriers or affected with the disease. Kya will be five years of age on March 9, 2009. Kya's normal weight is eleven pounds. Joey turned one year of age on July 23, 2008. Joey weighs thirteen pounds. History of Kya of Savikko - Kya of Savikko, is the only breedable female Coton from the breeding of Ernie of Savikko and Toky of Raharijaonison. Both Ernie and Toky were born on the Island of Madagascar. Kya's breeder, Coreen Savikko lived on the Island of Madagascar for a few years. She started breeding Cotons while she lived on the Island of Madagascar. When she returned to the USA she brought her Cotons to her home in California. Kya's ancestors were all born on the Island of Madagascar. History of Joey - Joey's breeder is Karen Black, Cotonwind Cotons. Joey's sire, Jeffrey, Jespersen's Prince of Denmark, is from Brigitte Jespersen's kennel in Denmark. Joey's mom, Icy, Cotonnerie Icy at Cotonwind, is from Sara France Saint-Pierre's pedigree lines, Cotonnerie Cotons in Quebec, Canada.
