Our business history...
The Ultimate Edge has been serving Central New York since 1976! That makes us CNY's most experienced car audio & electronics dealer! The Ultimate Edge began as Ultimate Audio in Central Square, NY as a small leased department in a department store. Eventually moving into our own facility, which we quickly outgrew. That lead us to our current location with two buildings over 8500 square feet, and 16 service bays.
About our staff...
Barry Vogel is the President and founder of The Ultimate Edge. He started the business in 1976 and has grown it to the largest mobile electronics business in the county. He currently serves as Vice President of the Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (MERA), and also chairs the education committee for MERA. Keeping everyone up to date on the latest technologies is Barry’s driving purpose.
Will Deibel is our tint and auto accessory specialist. He has been at the Edge for nearly 6 years. When it comes to window tint, or accessorizing your ride; Will is your man! He also does an excellent job on electronics installation.
Steve Hanson is our Head Technician. Steve has over 7 years of professional experience in car audio/video, remote start and security, and more. Fast, efficient and dependable installations is Steve’s specialty.
Chris Manoni is our newest acquisition. Chris graduated 7th Row Center Hands On! Tech school in March of ’07. He is MECP certified, and ready to rock your ride! He is up on the latest technology and use of the proper tools to get you maximum performance from your system.
