"I understood early on if the body is to be addressed for healing, it is necessary to learn as much about the many systems of the bodymind as possible. When I found BodyTalk, it gave me a way to address the body, mind and spirit in the most comprehensive and gentle way I had ever experienced. It acts as a wonderful tool to facilitate optimizing another's health, but also the health and well being of the practitioner. I have noticed more profound changes in myself with this work than with any other modality."

| John Speck | | | Changing habitual thoughts, emotions and behaviors with Thought Engines® was the invention of John Speck, who invested 37 years in researching and experimenting with how the mind creates behaviors. After graduating from Denver University with a BSBA degree in Business in 1965, John entered the field of adult education. The process of invention started with 15 years of designing and teaching educational programs for universities, businesses, and professional organizations. Increasing speed of learning and average performance levels were the design goals of the programs. From this experience, John identified that the most powerful limiters of performance were a persons thoughts and emotions.
John's extensive research spans complex cybernetic systems, psychology, memory development, perception, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), linguistics, creativity, systems thinking, leverage principles, chaos and complexity theories along with the stress response effect on the body. In 1998, John formulated a mental process that could easily find the leverage point (the smallest action that will give you the biggest result) in any activity. This process became a new tool John used to invent the shortest fastest path to major thought, emotion, and behavior change -- Thought Engines®. A Thought Engine is a new type of memory used to replace the memory that activates the behavior that is causing problems in a persons life. John is now teaching classes on how to create Thought Engines® for self-control of the change process and guides individuals in Thought Engine development to make specific habit changes to allow people to achieve greater health, improve performance and live a happier life.
