Here is a Fantastic Bally 4-player pinball machine called ‘Champ'.  The year is 1973 and this an ‘EM’ (Electro-Mechanical) pinball machine by Bally.   'Champ' featured some very exciting and unique  playfield features including:

    • 2 'Captive Ball Lanes'
    • 2 ‘Pop Bumpers’
    • 1 ‘Kick Out Hole’
    • 4 ‘Stationary Targets’

‘Champ’ also includes the, ever popular ‘SPECIAL WHEN LIT’ feature that yields a replay and the ‘THWACK’ sound so sought after by young teens of the ‘70’s!

The strategy of this game is to hit the captive 'messenger' balls repeatedly to increase your bonus and light the 'Extra Ball' targets.  If you get your cumulative bonus high enough, 'SPECIAL WHEN LIT' illuminates at the top of each captive ball lane.  Once lit you, can score as many SPECIALS as you want! However, it takes a direct hit to the 'messenger' balls to get them all the way up the top and hit the lit target!

This model is in near perfect condition as evidenced in the below photos. The theme is ‘family friendly’ and would make the perfect gift for the pinball fan in your life!

The playfield is beautiful. This machine includes our LEVEL 2 SERVICE and has been COMPLETELY REFURBISHED.

All of the playfield plastics are pristine with no cracks or fading. The back glass is in great shape with no areas of lifting or flaking paint. The back box metal door is included, (a component frequently missing on older machines). Also included are a new set of keys and locks for the coin door and back box door.  The cabinet is in excellent shape, all corner joints are very tight, and the paint is like new (see photos). The legs are in fine shape.
