CAR SHOW Exploration Place Sunday, May 24 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Free to view the cars outside 15th Annual Car Show Father's Day Cruisin' in the Jungle Sedgwick County Zoo Sunday, June 21 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Father's get in free with paying child Board of Directors' Meetings The Arc of Sedgwick County's Board of Directors Meet the 4th Monday of each month throughout the year.  The Meetings are held at 6:00PM at The Arc (located at 2919 W. 2nd).  All Arc members and friends are welcome to attend. Board of Directors View the minutes of our meetings. Membership Meetings Arc Membership Meetings are offered three times throughout the year to provide updates to the membership on the happenings at The Arc and vote on any business that is advertised. The Board President calls the meetings and will set the dates.    Arc Annual Membership Meeting May 18 at 7:00 p.m. New Board Members Will Be Elected Documents for Business at Meeting Board Vacancies being filled for 3 yr term - Slate Bios for two new proposed nominees Current Bylaws Amended and Restated Bylaws Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation Constitution Cover Letter Highlighting Changes Parent & Guardian Advisory Group The Arc's Parent & Guardian Advisory Group meets the 4th Thursday each month throughout the year.  The time alternates monthly from 11:30AM to 6:00PM to accomodate busy schedules.  This is a great way for families to get involved in what all is happening at The Arc and to help us set goals for the years to come. Call our office at 943-1191 for upcoming meetings. The Arc Learning Series The Arc Learning Series provides information on topics important to you.  The Parent & Guardian Advisory Group has helped develop a list of topics that they would like to be better educated.  Topics such as Planning Special Needs Trusts, Guardianship, Understanding Social Security, and DD (Developmental Disability)Services.  Learning Series Events will be posted here or contact The Arc to be put on the mailing list.
