Crisis and Risk Communication Exercise
May 10, 2011 - 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
James Coughlin Building
625 E. County Road Y
Oshkosh, WI 54901
Registration is currently open for the Crisis and Risk Communication Exercise on May 10th from 8:30am - noon. Your registration to attend is due by APRIL 26th.
Registration the day of the exercise is from 8:15am-8:30am.
A critical part of preparing your business or organization for an emergency is testing the plans and procedures. This tabletop exercise will offer your business or organization the opportunity to work through a simulated disaster involving mock media in a stress-free environment.
You can register your crisis communications team as a group or send just your Public Information Officer(s), who will be placed in a mixed team. Each team will be paired with a local first response leader and a trained facilitator to work on an individualized scenario to see if you and your facility are ready for the challenge of managing communications to your employees and the media in the next crisis.
There is NO COST to attend this training.
Please go to the Winnebago County Public-Private website at www.wcppp.org to print out the registration form. You can then either fax your registration to 920-303-3175 or mail it to Emergency Management, 4311 Jackson Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901 by APRIL 26th.
This will be the final meeting for the 2010/2011 Winnebago County Public-Private Partnership, and we will resume again next fall with another series of trainings.
