| | Your Piece in the Puzzle
God blessed us when he made us the body of Christ, His church. We are His hands and His feet. We are his eyes and mouth. We are the instrument God uses to spread the good news of Jesus.
Perhaps if we saw the body of Christ as a beautiful picture it would portray the many images of the church's work. We would see ministry, benevolence, teaching, service, outreach, love, patience, acceptance, generosity.
If the body of Christ were a picture, then it would be made up of many pieces as in a puzzle. The picture would not be complete without every piece inserted.
In 2009 we will be challenged to recognize that we all are a piece in that puzzle and we all need to discover where that piece goes. |
