SISTERS OF ST. MARY PRAYER COMPANIONS

In February 2002 the Sisters of St. Mary, Eastern Province ( Sister Kathleen's community) initiated a new ministry known as Prayer Companions.  Many parishioners became Prayer Companions at that time as did the children in St. Francis School and Religious Education.  Prayer Companions promise to pray for the ministries of the Sisters and for each other.  The Sisters depend upon their Prayer Companions for their work throughout the world.  Prayer Companions make a commitment to pray in whatever way they can and within their own timeframe.  In return, the Sisters promise to remember the intentions of their Companions in their prayers.  There are no meetings and no financial obligations.  Prayer Companions deepen their relationship with God and are spiritually connected to the Sisters and their works .
