  SMITHFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH
 A Family Of Faith...

Pastor's Weekly Verse– Luke 5:36-39, "He told them this parable: "No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, 'The old is better.' "

WELCOME TO SMITHFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH!

On behalf of the entire Smithfield Baptist Church family, let me extend to you and your family a hearty invitation to join us for worship. It is always a joy to meet new friends, and we would be delighted to have you come and fellowship with us.

This website contains some vital  information about our church that we trust will be beneficial to you. We want you to know what we are about, so a declaration of our   mission statement is included. There is also an abbreviated history giving the background of our church, as well as an overview of current  pro grams and ministry opportunities.

We invite you to join our church family as we seek to serve the Lord in this community. If we can be of any service to you, please do not hesitate to contact us. May God bless you as you seek to discover and follow His will for your life.

Dr. Donald R. Rhoton
