The Vector Nanotech crampons are the lightest, most technologically advanced ice climbing crampons in the world! They use a new steel alloy called Sandvik Nanoflex® developed by Sandvik (a world leader in steel). The new alloy reduces the weight of normal steel by 20% and increases resistance from 43 HRC to 52 HRC. This allows C.A.M.P. to decrease the thickness of its Vector crampons from 2.75mm to 1.8mm significantly reducing the crampon’s weight and increasing the penetration capability of the secondary points. The advanced mechanical properties of the metal combined with the proven Vector design allow for maximum vibration absorption at low temperatures making the frame highly resistant to repeated impact force and bending.

Weight (pair): 880 g / 28 oz
Binding: Automatic with straps
Adjust easily without tools
Color: Chrome w/ Red
Rigid steel construction
Steel leaf spring adjustment
Front points adjustable between dual and mono
Antibotts, heel spurs and replacement front points available as accessories

The Vector Nanotechs climb like a dream without extra weight. Great for long climbs or remote locations.

"Shop's business grows despite remote locale

SILVER GATE - Just outside his office window, Jay Schifferdecker can see the aquamarine gash of The Killer Pillar, a 30-foot frozen waterfall he likes to ice climb. Out the back door, there is a Nordic ski trail he glides on almost every day, snaking into the snow-muffled silence of the Beartooth Mountains."
