The Survival On Snow SOS SB Avalanche Beacon offers the same award winning quality as the SOS F1-ND, with the added function of locating a snowmobile or other valuable item when used in conjunction with a SLED BUG or SNOW BUG.
The SLED BUG attaches to the wiring harness on a snowmobile.
The SNOW BUG attaches to whatever you need to locate when buried in the snow. Dogs, packs, skis, food, rescue cache. The transmit time makes it ideal for locating winter caches. Up to 700 hours transmit time on two AA batteries.

• Receiving Range - 90 meters (50 meters on SB channel)
• SB Channel (Bug Button) when activated. Returns automatically to 457 kHz after two minutes
• Operating Frequency - 457 kHz
• Range Dial - synchronized with travel increments

"Shop's business grows despite remote locale
By BRETT FRENCH
Of The Gazette Staff
SILVER GATE - Just outside his office window, Jay Schifferdecker can see the aquamarine gash of The Killer Pillar, a 30-foot frozen waterfall he likes to ice climb. Out the back door, there is a Nordic ski trail he glides on almost every day, snaking into the snow-muffled silence of the Beartooth Mountains."
