What type of services do you provide?
We provide a full array of landscape services, from landscape design & installation, to grading and seeding, to hardscaping & ponds. Our website gives you a good feel for the scope of our services. If you're not certain if we perform a certain service, just ask!
How do you conduct business?
First a phone conversation occurs so that we have a general understanding of the project of interest. Then an appointment is scheduled and we meet with you at your home or business. We discuss the project with you and take notes, measurements, and pictures. Next, we contact you to discuss the proposal. For larger, more complex projects involving landscape or hardscape design, we schedule an appointment at our home showroom for you to review the proposal in person. If you are interested in proceeding we schedule the project. For larger jobs, we require a retainer in order to schedule you and to enable us to do additional legwork on your behalf. Larger hardscape jobs may also require a contract as delineated by the PA Attorney General's Office (see question below on licenses). We generally require a deposit to be paid no later than the start of the job with the balance due within 15 days if completion.
Do you do landscape design?
Yes, in conjunction with landscape projects that we install. We do not charge a separate fee for our design services when you do a project with us. We do not typically do standalone landscape design. For larger jobs, computer assisted design is available.
Do you do lawn treatments?
We generally do not apply lawn treatments outside fertilization of new lawns we install. We recommend that you contact a lawn treatment specialist. We can give you some suggestions if you need some guidance.
