|  ShawCraft Sign Company was formed in 1983 in a desire to address the increased need for real estate development signage in a fast growing community. Specializing in the design and fabrication of dimensional signs, ShawCraft grew quickly and eventually found it necessary to relocate to our present headquarters in Machesney Park, IL (a bedroom community of Rockford - Illinois’ second largest city) in 1993. Now occupying 6,500 sq. ft., ShawCraft continues to grow - adding a wholesale division in 2000 to offer the years of expertise to sign shop owners who don’t have - or have access to - the equipment or space necessary to fabricate dimensional signage. Company founder Jay Allen continues to guide the company today and the firm has flourished during the years under his leadership. Mr. Allen and his staff are the recipients of thirteen international awards for design excellence in the art of sign making. Personally, Allen is a published author, seminar instructor, public speaker and a contributing writer for SignBusiness magazine. The company’s work has also been featured numerous times in the other major trade publications SignCraft magazine, Signs of the Times magazine and A Magazine about Letterheads (AMAL). We have all the latest in technologies PLUS the talent to use these “tools” properly - never forgetting the fine tradition of “old-world craftsmanship”.
