W.A.R.N. System

W.A.R.N. (Wide Area Rapid Notification) is a broadcast system implemented in Roxbury in 2005 to improve communications between our emergency services and residents using phone and internet lines to quickly send voice messages to hundreds of homes at a time in the event of an emergency.  The system will contact all residents that are listed in the database via their home or cell phone with a pre-recorded message with information about the current situation.
