Philosophy of Childbirth:

Birth is the single most amazing thing in the world. It is an experience a woman and her partner remember for the rest of their lives. Because of that, it is important to have a birth that you feel comfortable with and empowered by. That is why informed consent and informed choice are so important. It means that whatever decisions a laboring woman makes, she makes with all the information about risks and benefits available. As a doula part of my job is to aid a family in deciding what birth path is true to them and figuring out how best to achieve it. Whether that decision is epidural anesthesia or natural childbirth, I pledge to support all the families I work with 100%.

I strive to give everyone I work with the most informed, loving, empowering care possible.
