Sleep Solutions Consultation

Katie Holderness
Sleep Consultant

It is very common for children to have sleep issues. Unfortunately many babies do not grow out of these sleep problems. When the sleep problems become habits they can continue to get worse and become chronic sleep deprivation. I realize that is difficult to see your child suffer from sleep issues and not know how to help them. That is where I come in.

I have been working with families since 1997 as a nanny and postpartum doula. After taking many child development classes to further my knowledge about infants and toddlers I started helping families that have experienced sleep issues. With this education and experience I have gained an understanding of the great need children have for sleep.

I start with an initial phone call to gather information needed to design a sleep plan that best suits your family. This intake phone call will be how I determine what sleep plan will best work for your family and is a key part of my consultation. This means that it is vital I get accurate and honest answers during our time together.

Remember, I am not here to judge you and your family; I am here to help you. A few days later after the plan is completed I will come out to your home and be there to help implement the plan and be there for support. Depending on the package you chose I will either leave you to implement the plan or I will support you through the process for the first three nights. With both of the options I am available by phone or email for questions as they arrive.

Consistency is a key role in making the sleep plan successfully work for you family. With consistency you will typically start to see improvement within the first three days. If you are ready to stop those nighttime battles and awakenings or nap time struggles, contact me.
