Long Term Disability Services
Regain recognizes that Long Term Disability insurance is important to both Employers and Employees as a vital “safety net’ should a disability occur.  Our goal is to assist in Long Term Disability claims management by providing information which allows the Benefits Analyst to accurately evaluate and reserve claim files.

While our service can be tailored to your specific needs and policy language, Regain can provide vocational evaluation services anywhere along the LTD continuum, from the ”own occupation” phase to the very important “any occupation” phase.  We can effectively evaluate an individual’s vocational ability to secure employment within the constraints of their disability and provide reasonable employment alternatives.

Transferable Skills Analysis
Regain’s Transferable Skills Analysis (TSA) includes document review, professional analysis, and report preparation.  Service will be completed, and a report furnished, within 5 business days of Carrier submission of all required documents.

Labor Market Survey
This service includes labor market research, and employer contacts on up to 4 separate job titles.  A minimum of 3 thoroughly researched employer contacts will be provided on each job title.  Service will be completed, and a report furnished, within 10 business days of Carrier submission of all required documents.

Initial Evaluation
Regain’s Counselor will meet with the claimant in their home to gather information regarding their medical history, education/training, work history, family/economic status, and hobbies/interests.  From this information, the Counselor will prepare a report assessing the claimant’s general transferable skills, his/her outlook on returning to work, possible barriers to employment, and their employability.

Assisted Job Search
Regain’s Counselor will provide guidance and assistance to the claimant in his/her efforts to secure gainful employment.  The Counselor will provide Job Seeking Skills Training, Job Leads, Interview Coaching, and Employment Resource Training.

Job Accommodation Assistance
Regain will assess the claimant’s restrictions and the requirements/demands of the job.  A report will be issued outlining accommodations and alternatives, including recommendations for equipment, training, vendor services, and costs.

Job Analysis
Regain will visit the job site, perform an analysis of the essential job functions and the claimant’s capacity to perform the job tasks.  A report of the findings will be provided.
