Welcome to www.ProjectCOPE.com

Project COPE, Inc. is a non-profit organization (501c3) established in 1970 to provide services to individuals who abuse drugs and alcohol. Since that time COPE’s role has expanded to include services for the mentally retarded, developing a network of home care services, and offering management consulting services to other organizations through Occupational Consultation Services. COPE seeks to help people achieve their fullest potential in medical, social, educational and emotional dimensions.

In addition to a well known residential treatment program for women in Lynn, Massachusetts, COPE runs a residential program for mentally retarded men in Westford, Massachusetts, a network of home care services for those with mental retardation, a range of intervention and educational services centered on substance abuse for the courts, and an HIV/AIDS education program. Occupational Consultation Services (OCS) offers an Employee Assistance Program in addition to business consultation.

Through educational, residential, outpatient, and other ambulatory and/or home-based programs, Project COPE cares for individuals of all ages. As an advocate for individuals needing specialized services, COPE assumes the responsibility for leadership in developing new and creative programs and addressing the needs of the many populations it serves.

Project COPE, Inc. is a voluntary non-profit organization, and no individual or group benefits from the operation of our programs; any gains from operations are put back into the organization in the form of improved services or facilities. The corporation has no stockholders and receives no support from tax funds. Civic-minded citizens of the North Shore area serve without pay as the members of the Board of Directors of Project COPE, Inc.

Project COPE, Inc. tapes a monthly show on the Public Access Channel Three in Lynn. The topics change monthly and  address contemporary issues. The show runs Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.  Please e-mail cleavitt@projectcope.com with any questions, concerns and comments you may have or would like to have addressed on the television program.  All e-mail will be confidential unless otherwise authorized. .
