Por La Gente has been hosting its annual basketball invitational since 1985. The first tournament drew eight local teams and was held at the Dr. Martin Luther King Center in Racine, WI. PLG is always moving forward, and this brings a new opportunity for us to partner with the Real School. The basketball tournament attracts many Hispanic Men's teams from Southeastern Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest. We always welcome teams from Illinois and Michigan. 

The PLG tournament continues to provide a competetive atomosphere for basketball and encourages participation within the Hispanic community. There will be two courts available and PLG will have concessions for sale to accommodate teams and fans. All proceeds from the basketball tournament are directed to the PLG scholarship fund and program funding for the upcoming year. PLG gives its sincere thanks to everyone involved in making this event a success!
