Both medicines -Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine. I have been a Licensed Acupuncturist in California for 12 years.  I was a medical doctor and acupuncturist in China for 13 years before I came to America. I was born in Mainland China and graduated from Guangxi Medical University - a Western style medical university in 1976 I received my M.D. in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Geriatrics. My formal study of TCM included acupuncture, herbs, massage and other Chinese Medicine treatment methods as required study for my medical degree. In China, I treated my patients with both methods - Western Medicine &  TCM, and found TCM had an even much better result than Western Medicine in some chronic diseases such as muscular-skeletal pain, sinusitus, etc. Since arriving in U.S.A. in 1989, I got my Master Degree in Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture at South Baylor University in California in 1991. Since 1992, I am a licensed acupuncturist in California. My background in Western Medicine combined with my training in TCM has provided a unique perspective on health and the human body.  In recent years, I have become a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and become an anti-Aging and Nutrition Specialist. I want to expand my skills and knowlege in order to offer more comprehensive care to my patients. In America, I began my acupuncturist career in a pain control medical clinic which was a branch of UCI Medical Center in Anaheim/California from 1991 to 1993. I entered Family Acupuncture Center in San Clemente  to become a TCM specialist over two years. My husband  Pei J. Liang,L.Ac. and I opened Pacific Acupuncture Center in 1994.
