Council Wide Day of Camping
September 18 & 19, 2009
Every Boy Scout Troop & Venture Crew in the council is encouraged to camp out at a prominent and visible location in their community, preferably in front of their chartered partner church or organization, and to perform a local short-term service project for their chartered partner on Saturday. Troops and Venture crews that have an affiliate Cub Scout Pack are asked to invite their Cub Scouts to join them on Saturday for the service project. This event will bring high visibility to the Scouting program across our council all on the same weekend. Make plans now to help showcase Scouting and perform a good turn at the same time!
