| About Greater Lauraville
The Neighborhoods of Greater Lauraville, Inc. (NOGLI) was established in 2001, and serves the six neighborhoods of Arcadia, Beverly Hills, Lauraville, Morgan Park, Moravia-Walther and Waltherson. Our primary goals are to strengthen the residential fabric of Greater Lauraville through volunteer coordination, low interest home improvement loans, senior resident advocacy and education about city services and responsibilities; and to revitalize the Lauraville Business District through marketing, advocacy, and promoting civic improvements. Our Mission Statement: "The Neighborhoods of Greater Lauraville, Inc. - NOGLI, is a community development corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life in Baltimore City by building on existing assets to strengthen the residential and commercial districts in our member neighborhoods." We are a non-profit resource center available to you to answer your questions and hear your concerns. We believe the neighborhoods are best served by the ingenuity of their own residents, and we serve the community by giving it the tools it needs to succeed, providing services that would not otherwise be possible on a neighborhood scale. We act as a clearinghouse for community concerns, provide assistance for community related issues, and enhance the initiatives undertaken by neighborhoods and business associations by helping to stretch their resources.
Additionally, representatives from each neighborhood's community association serve on our Board of Directors to determine what our neighborhoods need most.
