Director's Report

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
postcard house tour In many ways Greater Lauraville is about our homes, our families, and our shopping district. On June 8th you can celebrate all of them by coming to the Greater Lauraville Home and Garden Tour from 1-5PM and the Merchant Block Party from 2-6PM. Both kick-off at the 3000 block of Montebello Terrace. Registration for the Tour is at our office - 3009 Montebello Terrace in the Clark Building - the price is $7.50/adult. Children under 15 are free. There are 7 houses in the tour throughout our member neighborhoods. There will be  beautiful gardens, historic renovations, children's activities and family fun at every home! Then from 2-6PM the Lauraville Merchant's Association is hosting a block party in the 3000 block of Montebello Terrace. Activities include Candy Tasting by Rock Candy, Children's Earth Party with Tim Foresman, Shiatsu Massage by Great Soul, Bee Hive Hair-Do's by Hairy Production, a Garden Swap, Native Plant Sale (HRWA), and the Red Canoe Singers!
 Looking for more of a boost for your community pride? WYPR will be announcing our events the week of June 1, and full page City Paper adds will be out the last week of May-first week of June. We're looking for volunteers - call 410-444-9188 or e-mail lorrie@greaterlauraville.com for more information!
