| | About US | | | New Life Academy of Excellence was conceived by a group of parents and community leaders who expressed an interest in assisting the Gwinnett County School Board by developing a world-class, chartered educational program. Under the leadership of Alphonsa Foward Jr., efforts began with a vision to provide a safe and positive environment that encourages independent and creative thinking for students through an integrated curriculum.
After much planning and presenting, the Gwinnett County School Board recommended the approval of this charter school through the Georgia Board of Education. The official approval was granted on August 10, 2006. New Life Academy of Excellence became the first approved, start-up charter school in the history of Gwinnett County. The school will initially serve 150-200 students, consisting of grades K - 3 for the first year with a grade added each additional year up to grade 8. | Director/Founder | | | |
