Longville’s 4th annual Summerfest - July 18, 2009

• The Longville Lakes Arts Alliance, in cooperation with the Longville Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will host the first Mardi Gras Festival, a community arts festival.
• The event will take place on the west end of Main Street, on grounds provided by Pat and Marilyn Tabaka.
• Three variety shows, showcasing local talent are scheduled for 10:30 am also at 1 & 3:30 pm. Iznette Productions is producing the shows.
• In the evening, from 6:30 to 10:30 pm, Steve Reiter's Cabin Fever band will perform music for the listening and dancing pleasure of attendees.
• Other activities include artists and crafters displaying, demonstrating and selling their works from 10 am to 6 pm. Food will be available through various food vendors during the daytime hours.
• This first time Longville event is made possible by a Minnesota State Arts Festival Grant.
• Volunteer event workers are needed. Please sign up at the 'Gallery of New Creations' in downtown Longville.
