Longville's Ice Bocce Tournament

The 3rd Annual Longville Ice Bocce Tournament was held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10 AM on Girl Lake in front of Patricks Fine Dining.  32 four-person teams took to the ice this year.  Temperatures were significantly warmer than in past years resulting in a record turnout.

Teams consist of two men and two women.  The entry fee is $20. per team or $5. per person.

Cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams and a trophy presented to the champions.

Tournament Chairman Craig Johnson urge players to register as soon as possible.  Many teams can be accommodated, and early registration helps advise the committee of the number of Ice Bocce lanes they will need to plow for the tournament to avoid delays between matches.

As in years past, Patrick's Fine Dining remains open for food and beverage and to warm participants.  Registration the day of the tournament began at 9 AM with the tournament beginning at 10 AM.
