All classes will be held in Longville at the "Imagine That! Arts & Crafts Center"
On the Main St. of Longville, in the 'Gallery of New Creations-Antiques too' building.

Choose Any Tuesday June 16 thru Aug 11  3 hr class, 9am to Noon

Students should bring a 5 x 7 photo to work from

Fee: $33.00 for 3 hour class - Minimum number of students in a class is 3

Guitar Class  Instructor: Steve Reiter 218-566-4852
Choose Any Thursday June 18 thru Aug 13

There are 3 One Hour Lessons each Thursday.  Choose 2 pm or 3 pm or 4 pm
Students should be a minimum age of 9 yrs. and should bring an Acoustic Guitar.

Fee: $5.00 per hour - Minimum number of students in a class is 3.
If class is not filled, take a private lesson with Steve for $15. per hour



Intermediate Stained Glass  Instructor: Carol Vind 
July-Aug  This Class is 1 day per week for 4 weeks 1 pm to 4:30 pm. Class date begins July 29.

This four day course will teach the student the basics of working with stained glass.  The student will learn to layout a pattern, cut, grind, fit, solder, clean and polish. The first finished piece will be a bluebird which is done in foil. The second piece will be a sailboat which is done in came.  The third piece will be chosen by the student.

The grinders are furnished by LLAA but the student will be expected to purchase their own tools.

The cost is $75.00 which will include the glass necessary to complete the three projects.

Basket Weaving  by Tortuga Baskets, Handmade

June 25  Thursday  9 am to 2 pm

Create a Simplicity Market Basket.  This simple market basket is a great little basket for your home or to give as a gift.  The dimensions are 6' x 10' x 5' (10' with the handle).  The two rows of color you select will make it fit your taste and decor.  All tools and materials are included and you leave with a finished product.  Join the fun - beginners welcome.  Adults preferred.

July 2  Thursday   9 am to Noon     Max 8 students

Create an everyday Napkin Basket - This sweet llittle napkin basket will liven up your July 4th table and be useful the rest of the year!  The dimensions are 3" x 7" x 4-1/2" and includes a package of American Flag napkins to use for the holiday.  It is a very simple basket - a great class for a beginner.  Come join us and have a "show and tell" for your holiday guests or family.  All tools and materials are included and you will leave with a finished basket.   Adults preferred.

Woodcarving - Beginning level - Instructor:  Dick Joyce   566-3710
July 9 through August 27  8 Thursdays 9am to 11 am

This course was developed for the St. Paul Adult Ed Program over 20 years ago.  I taught this class for 15 years until I moved to Longville.

It consists of 8 two hour sessions in which the students carve 6 projects.  The projects start very simple and progress in difficulty.

Fee: $30  class limit 12 students.  The tools needed are a carving knife and a sharpening stone which I sell for $10 total.  The projects for carving I bring cost from $1 to $4 each. 


Loosen Up with Aqua-Media (watercolor and acrylic)

July 10    9 - 11 am   Friday - age 16 years to adult

Working fast with lots of water you will learn a painting process that is exciting and full of surprises.  We will jump in and attempt a landscape and a floral study on watercolor paper.  The emphasis here is on loosening up!  Wear "paint" clothes.  This is for all skill levels, especially beginners.

Enjoy learning to make your own jewelry! This class will give you the basic tools and supplies needed to ignite your own creative talent to make your own jewelry. Come to have fun and create a beautiful bracelet or beautiful earrings to wear and say, "I made it myself!"  Class size 10. Beginners welcome!

The 5 basic elements of shape are easy and fun to learn with some astounding results.  Using fine and broad-tipped colored markers, students will create a finished drawing and gain artistic confidence.  This class is for beginners.
