One of the world's secret delicacies, Sopressata/ Soprassata has been an Italian mainstay for countless generations. Depending on Italian geography, other traditonal spellings include Sopressata, Sopresata, Sopressatta, Sopressata, or Soprasatta. In Northeastern Pennsylvania, this sausage if pronounced and spelled as Supersata and is often abbreviated to "Super"!
