Mr. Yusef Chavers is a Facilitator of Elevated Places. Mr. Chavers is a native of Jersey City, New Jersey.  In his younger years he served a two and half year prison sentence.  He was successfully rehabilitated and resolved to share his wisdom with youth who were at risk.  He moved from prison to a half way house in Newark back to Jersey City with a motivational message of change for at risk youth in Jersey City.  

Mr. Chavers wears many hats in his current career path.  His jobs included: counselor, activists, and community outreach liaison, assistant minister for Hudson County Correctional Facility, youth organizer, and motivational speaker with the Jersey City Board of Education.  His most prided position are those involving working in Adult Prisons and Half Way Houses throughout the state of NJ.  Other outstanding jobs include Life Skill Coordinator for Offender Aid Restoration Program at Essex County Jail, Case Manager for Urban Renewal Shelter and a Community Outreach Worker for Hudson County Youth House. All of which make him an irreplaceable member of Elevated Places, Inc. and its mission.
