For Police Officer Marissa Baljko, law enforcement is part of family history. Following in the footsteps of her father and older sister, this 2-year veteran came to the Jersey City Police Department to experience the excitement and challenge of police work. With an attentive eye on education, Police Officer Baljko is also a college student studying psychology and early childhood education. Officer Baljko is excited about putting her considerable skills to work at Explorer Post 424, and views the Explorer program is an opportunity to be a positive role model. Marissa is currently assigned to the Patrol Divisions North District, and is already ambitious about the Police Departments opportunity for advancement. Officer Baljko's future plans include becoming an educator in our school system.
