SCALE GONE 0045
DESCRIPTION: SCALE GONE 0045 contains hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids, plus a powerful detergent system. This product not only cleans the aluminum, but it removes road film, water mineral deposits and the dull, dark oxidation restoring brightness to all aluminum and painted surfaces.
SUGGESTED USES: SCALE GONE 0045 is designed to clean, remove oxidation, and to brighten all aluminum. It is also used for the general cleaning, brightening, and etching of raw aluminum parts. SCALE GONE 0045is used for the cleaning and brightening of aluminum trucks and vans.
METHOD OF MIX AND APPLICATION:
Dilute 1 part SCALE GONE 0045 to5 up to 40 parts water, experiment to see what ratio works best for your application. The solution may be either brushed or sprayed on and allowed to dwell until a foam blanket occurs. The surface should be water rinsed. In some instances it is required to agitate the surface prior to rinsing. However, this depends entirely on the surface that is being cleaned or brightened. Some alloys do not require brushing before final rinsing of the SCALE GONE 0045 The surface being cleaned should be worked from the bottom up, keeping the surface wet.
PRECAUTIONS: Contains Hydrofluoric Acid. Causes eye and skin damage. Wear rubber gloves and chemical goggles while handling this product. Causes burns that may not be painful or visible immediately. DO NOT mix with chlorine type bleaches or other chemicals. Keep out of reach of children.
PRACTICAL TREATMENTS:
EYES: Flush eyes immediately with water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
SKIN: Flush skin with water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
INGESTION: Drink two glasses of water. Obtain medical attention.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air.
