Robert S. Peare, CPA - Fuoco Group CPAs

Robert Peare is a Director of Fuoco Group, a multi-office, multi-state full service accounting and consulting firm providing expert assurance services, accounting, strategic advisory services, estate and trust accounting, tax planning and preparation, litigation support, and forensic and fraud auditing services.

Prior to joining the Fuoco Group, Robert was a partner in a prominent regional CPA firm from 1980 through 1988. He began his own firm in 1977, subsequent to an association with the development firm of Suffolk Village, at the time the largest single-family homebuilder in Suffolk County, New York, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities included tax, business planning, accounting and financial control, including data processing and personnel support. In 1980 Robert partnered in the Hauppauge accounting firm of Weisman & Peare, CPAs. As Managing Partner from 1989 through 2003, the firm represented numerous business clients and high net worth individuals with an eye towards business and personal tax planning.

Throughout his career, Robert has actively supported numerous civic, cultural and business organizations. Robert professional affiliations include the American Institute of CPAs, the Estate Planning Council of Suffolk County and the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs (President), Tax Committee, Management of an Accounting Practice Committee (chairman). He also belongs to the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (Long Island Chapter), Long Island Builders Association and the Long Island Import Export Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Community Mainstreaming Associates. He holds professional licenses in New York and Florida.

In additional Robert has lectured to the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs, the Islip Adult Day Care Center and at the Small Business Expo in Port Jefferson. His published professional articles appear in the Long Island Business News and The Trusted Professional. He has appeared on numerous radio programs as a technical guest discussing tax planning, and estate and trust matters.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is also a licensed Certified Public Account with the State of New York and Florida.
