In addition to his auditing and accounting experience, Joe also heads the firm’s technology consulting group. Within the technology arena, Joe has also been involved in the areas of information security and reviews of controls over information.
Prior to joining the Fuoco Group, Joe was one of the founding members of Infinity Adventures, a start up Internet company. The entity provided a web portal with a comprehensive database that served the hunting and fishing industry. He was formerly with Mark, Mandel & Co where he was the Supervisor of Accounting & Tax. Joe frequently speaks to professional accounting societies and business groups on issues relating to technology services.
Joe is highly active within his community. He is the current school board President of the River Dell regional school district. He is a committee member of the non-profit organization, Robert Wright Memorial Foundation, which aids in the fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). He is one of the founding members of the River Dell Lacrosse Association, acting as a Director and coach of 3 girl teams. He is also actively engaged in the River Dell Soccer Association, acting as President and Treasurer for the travel division while coaching multiple teams and participating in their various fund raising events. He also has been an All Star 3 years running in the River Dell Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting from Ithaca College. He is also a proud alumnus of Liverpool High School. In addition Joe has successfully obtained the AICPA accreditation of CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional) of which there are only about 1,100 individuals with this accreditation nationwide.
In his spare time Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Tybe and their 5 daughters.
