Elizabeth Vuozzo, CPA - Fuoco Group, Inc.

Elizabeth A. Vuozzo, CPA is a Director at Fuoco Group, LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors with offices in Hauppauge, NYC and N. Palm Beach, Florida. Ms. Vuozzo has been a member of the Fuoco Group and its predecessor firms for approximately 25 years and as a result of her dedication, determination and persistence she was awarded, during 2009, the title of Director of the firm.

As a key member of the firm’s tax department, she supervises all of the firms Internal Revenue, New York State Income and Sales Tax Examinations for individuals and corporations. She provides technical review of tax returns as part of the firm’s quality assurance and ensures that all staff stays current on changes in the tax code.

Ms. Vuozzo is also in charge of the Small Business Division within the firm. Her duties include all aspects of client business advisory services; assisting clients develop long-term business objectives, budgeting programs, cash flow analysis, income tax planning and preparation. Over the years she has worked very diligently with helping small family-owned businesses throughout Long Island.

In addition to her expanded roles and responsibilities at the Fuoco Group, Ms. Vuozzo has been asked to make presentations at various conferences. For CCH, a leading provider of information services, software and workflow tools for tax, accounting, legal and business professionals, she has spoken and provided best practices to accounting firms making the transition from paper to a paperless office. For XCM Solutions, a business that provides accounting firms with web-based workflow automation solutions that increase efficiency, productivity and profitability, Ms. Vuozzo has spoken of the benefits of automated workflow software.

Ms. Vuozzo is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is on the NYSSCPA’s Suffolk Chapter Executive Board, she is the Chairperson of the NYSSCPA’s Suffolk Chapter Tax Committee, she is on the Executive Advisory Board of XCM Solutions, LLC and actively works with the Accountant/Attorney Networking Group.

Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York and is a proud alumnus of Brentwood High School. In addition, she is very active in her community. She is one of the founding members of the Saint Gerard Magella Columbiettes, the Comsewogue Special Education Parent Teacher Association and the Comsewogue Soccer Booster Association. She is also an annual participant and fervent supporter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Multiple Sclerosis Walk.
