About Donald P. Musgnug, CPA - Fuoco Group CPAs

Don Musgung is Director of Fuoco Group, a multi-office, multi-state full service accounting and consulting firm providing expert assurance services, accounting, strategic advisory services, estate and trust accounting, tax planning and preparation, litigation support, and forensic and fraud auditing services.

Mr. Musgnug brings 30 years of accounting and financial experience to his clientele. Prior to the Fuoco Group, he joined Peare & Heller Financial Services as a shareholder. Before joining Peare & Heller, Musgnug was a member of a prominent regional firm. He has been retained as a Business Consultant, Auditor, Accountant, Financial and Tax Planner. He supervises engagements to audit, review or compile financial statements, management reports and tax returns, personal financial and estate plans. Mr. Musgnug’s knowledge and experience are invaluable assets to the Firm and the clients we serve.

Throughout his career, Mr. Musgnug has actively supported numerous civic, cultural and business organizations. Mr. Musgnug is the immediate Past President and current Board Member of the Family Service League of Suffolk County and Board Member of the Suffolk County Council, Boy Scouts of America. He is Past President, Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurse Service of Suffolk County; Townwide Fund of Huntington; Huntington Historical Society; and Kiwanis Club of Huntington, Inc.

Mr. Musgnug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Economics, from. C.W Post College of Long Island University. Mr. Musgnug was elected and served four-years as Town Councilman in the Town of Huntington, New York. In addition to his role as Councilman, he served one year as Deputy Supervisor of the Town of Huntington. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of accounting, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, and accounting and the computer for the State University of New York.
