January 8, 2009  - Fuoco Group LLP promotes Elizabeth A. Vuozzo to Director as of January 1, 2009. Elizabeth (Liz) becomes the first female partner of the Fuoco Group and will head up the small business accounting and tax department for the Hauppauge office. December 1, 2008 - New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has mandated new rules and regulations, effective January 1, 2009 for 2008 tax returns. Enforceable this tax season, all business entities (LLC, LLP, S and C Corporations) must pay their NYS tax liabilities electronically. Penalties for non-compliance cannot be abated.
