NOTARY BADGES
NOTARY BADGE WARRANTY: SymbolArts manufactures its products to a very high standard. All badges carry a LIFETIME warranty against the detachment of safety catches, joints, posts, banners/panels/seals and the discoloration of the cloisonné enamels In addition each badge carries 3-year warranty against peeling or flaking of the clear coat protective covering. The clear coat warranty will be voided if the badge is polished by hand or machine with any metal polish or cleaning/abrasive solution; the badge is soaked or exposed to any solvent; the badge is exposed to fire or prolonged heat; or the badge is repaired or modified by anyone other than SymbolArts. All other manufacturing defects are guaranteed for a period of one (1) year. The warranty period begins from the date stamped on the back of the badge and applies to NORMAL wear.
Please read carefully the "GENERAL BADGE POLICY" below (especially the information about the delivery times for the badges). Each badge is specially made for us, and the "State" Notary Public badges have the notary ID on the badge of any notary that orders a badge and the Mobile/Signing Agent badges have the names of the notaries. The orders placed with the manufacturer are completed on a "first-in-first-out" basis and we are not their only customers for producing their products. Your patience for these orders is appreciated.

GENERAL BADGE POLICY
Our badges are manufactured with precision by SymbolArts and with an exclusive agreement and ordering through NOTARYBADGE.
SymbolArts does not sell badges to individuals. Badge orders must be accompanied by a letter of authorization or proper identification.
As a condition of the sale, it is the responsibility of the buyer —without any reservation, qualification, or restriction — to insure that any official issued product purchased from SymbolArts is used in compliance with all local, state and federal laws or regulations.
DELIVERIES
Because each badge is custom made to meet your specifications, normal lead time is 10 weeks and longer. Larger orders or custom designs may take longer.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Changes or cancellations received within 24 hours after receipt of order will be handled at no charge. Changes or cancellations received subsequently will be charged a minimum fee of $25 per badge.
REPAIRS
All warranty repairs are handled immediately at no charge. All non-warranty repairs require a minimum charge of $25 per badge plus freight. Unrepairable badges will be remade at the regular badge price.
REFURBISHING
SymbolArts offers badge refurbishing on a case-by-case basis. Refurbishing carries a $25 minimum fee. Any non-SymbolArts badge can be refurbished based on a negotiated price; however, this is done at your own risk. SymbolArts does not guarantee the outcome nor offer any warranty on the refurbishing of a non-SymbolArts badge.
DIE SET-UPCHARGES
New badges require a one-time mold charge; however this amount is waived with a minimum order of 50 or more pieces. It is mutually understood that all dies are to remain in the possession of SymbolArts for customer use unless otherwise notified in writing.

The I.D. cards are used to help identify the notary to their customers whenever they go to their customer's homes or businesses. In today's society, people want some type of I.D. or some way of verifying people before they let them into their homes or businesses, and this is a great way to help identify the notary. (NOTE: Please ensure that your State's "Notary I.D. Number" is given to us as it is very critical to make your I.D. card. The State's "Notary I.D. Number" is the number on your certificate the State issued you when you became a notary. It is the number that never changes when you renew your certificate. The "Certificate Number" is the number on your certificate that changes when you do renew your certification.
