| First Coat: Apply deep penetrating epoxy primer to floor surfaces (175 to 200 sq. ft. per gal.) Allow primer to cure for about 1 to 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary) Second Coat: Apply a coat of 100% solids epoxy to floor surface (~ 100 sq. ft. per gal.) Allow epoxy coat to cure for about 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary) Third Coat, Finish: Apply a finish coat of UV resistant polyurethane with aluminum oxide (added for slip resistance) to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.) | |||
