Double Broadcast Flake System (~3/32" to ~ 1/8)
First Coat: Apply a clear binder coat of 100% solids epoxy to floor surface (~ 160 sq. ft. per gal.) While the binder coat is still wet, broadcast the flakes to rejection Allow epoxy coat to cure for about 24 hours Sweep off any loose flakes
Second Coat: Apply a clear binder coat of 100% solids epoxy (80 to 120 sq. ft. per gal.) or high solids polyurethane (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.) to floor surface While the binder coat is still wet, broadcast the flakes to rejection Allow to cure for about 24 hours Sweep off and vacuum any loose flakes
Third Coat: Apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.) Allow polyurethane coat to cure for about 2 to 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary)
Fourth Coat (Optional to create smoother profile): Apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane with aluminum oxide (added for slip resistance) to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.)

Single Broadcast Flake System (~ 1/16)
First Coat: Apply deep penetrating epoxy primer to floor surface (250 to 350 sq. ft. per gal.), primer color will be tinted to match the color tone of the flake blend selected Allow primer to cure for about 1 to 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary)
Second Coat: Apply a clear binder coat of 100% solids epoxy to floor surface (~ 150 sq. ft. per gal.) While the binder coat is still wet, broadcast the flakes to rejection Allow epoxy coat to cure for about 24 hours Sweep off and vacuum any loose flakes
Third Coat: Apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.) Allow polyurethane coat to cure for about 6 to 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary)
Fourth Coat (Optional to create smoother profile): Apply a coat of UV resistant polyurethane with aluminum oxide (added for slip resistance) to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.)

Random Flake System
First Coat: Apply deep penetrating epoxy primer to floor surface (175 to 350 sq. ft. per gal.) Allow primer to cure for about 1 to 24 hours Lightly sand (either mechanically or by hand) the floor to remove any foreign debris trapped in the drying process and smooth the surface (if necessary)
Second Coat: Apply a coat of 100% solids epoxy to floor surface (~ 100 to 200 sq. ft. per gal.) Randomly broadcast flakes into wet epoxy Allow epoxy coat to cure for about 24 hours
Third Coat, Finish: Apply a finish coat of polyurethane with aluminum oxide (added for slip resistance) to floor surface (250 to 300 sq. ft. per gal.)
NOTE: UV resistant second coat and finish coat is available if the floor will be exposed to the sun.
