Banquets . . .

Our Banquet Room accommodates up to 92 people and is used for private functions of 30 or more guests.  You will find the Banquet Room preferable for any catered event.

Duke’s Lounge accommodates up to 40 guests.  Duke’s Lounge is available for catered functions in the event that the Banquet Room is unavailable.

Both rooms are on the second floor and have a spectacular view of the Susquehanna River.  Please note that both rooms have stair access only, no elevators. 

**The Banquet Room and Duke's Lounge availability are seasonal.  Please inquire with management.

We observe the following policies:

BANQUET ROOM – reserved only for parties of 30 or more.  Accommodates up to 92 people.

• A $50 room charge is attached for use of the room for three hours.  We reserve the right to attach an additional $50 per hour for additional usage.

• You must order off of our Catering Menu which we can customize to suit your needs.

• Menu arrangements must be made 7 to 10 days prior to the function.

• A $50 deposit is required within 7 days from the date the reservation is arranged.  Reservations are tentative until the $50 deposit has been received.

• The deposit may be paid with cash, check, or credit card.  If you choose to make your deposit  with a credit card, we simply record your account number.  Your account will not be billed except in the case of a “no show” in which case your account will be billed the total amount of the catering

• An automatic 18% gratuity is added to all catered events.

• The minimum number of guests for which you will be charged is 30 (thirty).  Should the number of guests in attendance be higher than the final headcount given, you will be billed for the number in attendance.

All balances are due on the date of the function.

• Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time the menu is determined.

• Alcoholic beverages are served from Duke’s Lounge and are available by the glass.  Beer is available by the glass or bottle.  All alcoholic beverages are priced per consumption. 
 Happy Hour prices do not apply

• The bar area located in Duke’s Lounge is shared by the guests in both the Banquet Room and Duke’s Lounge.

The Banquet Room and Duke's Lounge are part of The Dukes Bar and Grille Restaurant.  All P.L.C.B. rules for alcohol consumption apply.  It is unlawful to serve anyone who appears to be intoxicated.  This is strictly enforced and party planners or group leaders are asked to help in this matter.

• Tables are to be moved by staff members only.

• Function Rooms are assigned according to the anticipated number of guests.  We reserve the right to reassign rooms according to the size of the party.

• Decorating may be done within two hours of the event.  Please, no tape on the walls or ceiling and no confetti!

• Any disc jockey (or other entertainment) must be approved by management prior to the function.  Once approved they must provide their own equipment including tables.

• In order to ensure and maintain quality control, no food or beverage item is permitted to be brought in from any source.

Buffet items are not for take-out and may not be removed

DUKE’S LOUNGE – or any reservation of 15 or more.

20 to 25 guests.  A pre-arranged limited menu is strongly suggested.

• 30 or more guests must order off of our Catering Menu in which case “Banquet Room Policies” apply.  (See Banquet Room policies listing)

• $5 per person is required within 7 days from the date the reservation is arranged.  Reservations are tentative until a deposit has been received.

• The entire amount will be deducted from the final bill, except in the event the expected number of guests do not attend, in which case we retain the deposit amount for the number of people who did not show.  (Your final headcount may be changed up to 24 hours prior to the reservation)

•       The deposit may be paid with cash, check, or credit card.  If you choose to make your deposit with a credit card, we simply record your account number.  Your account will only be billed in the event the final number of guests as indicated by your final headcount do not attend, in which case your account will be billed the deposit amount of $5.00 per person for the number of guests who were not in attendance.

The following applies to Duke’s Lounge only:

• A room charge of $50 is attached for private use of the room for three hours.  We reserve  the right to attach a room charge of $50 per hour for additional usage.  Otherwise, all parties are semi-private unless discussed with management.

• We reserve the right to attach a room charge of $50 per hour for reservations scheduled during hours in which Duke’s Lounge is not normally open for business.  Duke’s Lounge hours are limited to evenings and are seasonal so please inquire with management.

• An automatic 18% gratuity is attached to Duke’s Lounge reservations.
