Brass and bronze are copper-based alloys. The Yellow Brass alloy used in Michael Healy’s designs contains 70% copper, while the Red Bronze contains 85%. It is this additional copper content that gives the Bronze alloy its reddish undertone. The warm silver color of the Nickel Silver alloy is attained by adding nickel to the Red Bronze alloy.
